California Native Plant Society

Loma Prieta Chapter

Wildflower show, April 2007

We picked up Barbara late Sunday afternoon and headed to Mission College for the end of the CNPS show. Barbara collects and germinates wildflower seeds and she was able to pick up many samples at the show. I was just amazed at the beauty of our California natives.

First some photos of the flowers, and then of the people...

The plant tables were all labeled. And a few people shot back.

Wow, look how many people came! Angela and Barbara look over the leavings.

They were all cataloged. Ken Hines - famous plant biologist...

All the cards were kept for next year. Then the plants had to go.

Bottles were collected. Books packed up.

Everything must go. Eventually they rolled up the carpet.

I don't know who this one belongs to, but it made for some nice art!
