I've found this at Southern Lumber in San Jose. It comes in 5x5 foot sheets 3mm (1/8th inch) for about $18. I have them cut the boards into 24 inch strips so that they fit in my car. I've used 1/32 inch material from Tap Plastics. It formed easily and with very good detail.

I set the heaters to 3 and the plastic was ready in about 30 seconds.

I bought the material at Tap Plastics. They charge $2.15 per square foot; sheet cost $6.00.

I bought a 40x72 inch sheet of 0.03 inch styrene from http://usplastic.com (item 043331) It cost $10 and shipping was another $10. It came in a rolled up tube. I bought a 24x48 inch sheet of 0.04 inch material from for $18 plus $10 shipping. Out of that I cut two 20x20 sheets. So the cost was $15 per sheet.

http://www.shapeways.com I have printed lots of stuff with Shapeways. Their print quality is very high. They offer a number of different materials. Their web site is easy to use and powerful. The only downside is that it takes 2-3 weeks to get your stuff. They also allow you to have your own store....

I met them at TechShop San Jose. According to the CEO they are more expensive than Shapeways, but will deliver in two days. They also do high quality and color objects.
